For a more detailed analysis of the flight of a projectile, we have developed a fully Automated Flight Follower System (AFF).
This system can follow and record video of a supersonic projectile in flight and is so detailed that you can actually see the shock waves being created by the projectile. This system allows you to see any flaws within the ammunition quickly without the need for timely and costly trials.

Mid-flight update for impact analysis
Typically the system will track a projectile for 100m or more with better than 0.05% accuracy over a 90° scan. The AFF has several modes of operation including fixed velocity, measured velocity and user-defined velocity profiles. The system can record horizontal and elevated firings and accommodates most high-speed video systems. The dedicated remote control software records measurements of velocity, drag correction, trigger delay and more.
